These bow ties are made of a very special fabric that is known as “ketene”. It is a handwoven silk native to the central asian country of Turkmenistan. 

This country was once on the ancient Silk Road and has preserved many traditions such as weaving and rug making. The Ketene fabric is handwoven on a 40 centimeter loom to this day. A modern twist is the addition of metallic threads, giving it a beautiful shimmer in the light. Much sturdier than classic silk, this fabric makes a wonderful bow tie.

Our hand made bow ties are a charming addition to your dog's collar. 
They attach to your pup's collar easily with the velcro strap that is located in the back
Simply fit the collar to the bow tie and cut off the extra velcro

Bow ties in photo are a medium. Pattern placement will vary based on size and from bow to bow

They come in three sizes

SIZING GUIDE

L: 4 inches in width
S: 3.5 inches in width
XS: 3 inches in width

These bow ties are all handmade, so patterns and sizes will differ slightly.
